MEDICAL IMAGING TECH III / Cardiovascular Technologist
Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Albany, NY 12208
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $60/hr. - $65/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Schedule Notes:

Shift Timing: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Call Requirement: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join a high-acuity cardiac care team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in invasive cardiology procedures, hold required certifications, and be prepared to support both scheduled and emergency cases.
Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures

Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment

Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures

Document all care and procedures accurately

Respond to emergency situations and provide advanced support
Skills & Requirements:
Certifications:
-
Current New York State registration or limited permit to practice in NY
-
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
-
Advanced certification as ARRT-CV or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
-
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (Required)
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of related cardiovascular technologist experience
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology program
License:
-
Active NY State license or limited permit to practice
