Pilot program! This temporary assignment will provide onboarding and education to a cohort of Hardy High School students on the CPD tech pathway. Teaching/ teaching experience preferred here.

/> Essential Functions
Provide Departmental Sterile Process Education
Conducts new employee orientation and schedules onboarding activities
Administers central sterile processing education curriculum
Conducts recurring education on existing processes based on need or timing
Crafts new education based on best practices or changes in process
Education Certification and Documentation - Educator is responsible for the maintenance of all training and education records as well as certification of skills and the consolidation of feedback from Qualified observers.
Provides quality assurance assessments as deemed by the CPD annual QA program.
Understand and Maintains current knowledge of the AAMI, OSHA, FDA, JCAHO policies and recommendations and how these impact the staffing and education programs
Serves as a resource to the CPD staff, CPD Management, and all ancillary departments who perform decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization when necessary and participates in joint activities as directed by CPD leadership
