Phlebotomist II
Location: Bluffton SC
Duration: 5 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift/Time Zone: Mon-Friday 7:30Am - 4:00Pm
Position Overview
The PSR II is the face of the company and provides frontline interaction with patients, drawing blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. The role emphasizes professionalism, accuracy, and patient confidence, especially during sensitive or routine health situations.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Interaction & Phlebotomy

Greet and reassure patients professionally.

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws, including for pediatric and geriatric patients.

Explain procedures clearly and build trust.

Accurately label and verify samples with patients post-draw.
Clinical & Administrative Duties

Prepare specimens for testing.

Maintain documentation and records.
-
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient demographics.
Leadership & Behavior

Demonstrate leadership and uphold "Everyday Excellence" principles.

Represent the company positively to the public, clients, and coworkers.

Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity and judgment.
Requirements
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
-
Preferred: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred (REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA).
Experience
-
3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.

2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service experience in retail or service settings preferred.

Must have keyboard/data entry skills.

Comfortable with travel and working multiple locations on short notice.

Must have reliable personal transportation (public transit/ride-share not acceptable).
