Job Title: Travel: LTACH Tele
Location: Indianapolis - IN
Duration: 2 – 3 Months+

Shift/Schedule: 12*3 (36hr/week) Days and Nights Both Available

Weekly Stipends available for travel candidates (Inclusive of weekly Pay)
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry setting, adhering to the Nursing Process and hospital policies.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, promptly identifying changes in cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately.
• Manage ventilator and tracheostomy care for medically complex patients, ensuring safety and optimal respiratory function.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel based on scope of practice, experience, and patient acuity.
• Supervise support staff and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medical conditions, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain current clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development.
• Uphold the standards of the Indiana Nurse Practice Act and hospital protocols.

• Minimum 1+ years of recent LTACH Tele RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Active and unrestricted Indiana RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
