Job Title: Client Service Representative
Job Location: Newtown Square, PA
Job Duration: 3 Months (Possibilities of Extension).
Shift: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Pay rate: $22/hrs on W2

Job Summary


The Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to customer and prospective customer inquiries by phone in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner. This role involves troubleshooting issues, reporting laboratory results, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional communication and follow-up.




Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming telephone inquiries, requests, and complaints courteously and efficiently using proper telephone etiquette and available resources.

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely follow-up on unresolved matters.

  • Report laboratory results to clients and patients in accordance with established protocols.

  • Complete and maintain all required documentation and call records accurately.

  • Provide education and guidance to clients regarding laboratory processes and procedures.

  • Escalate issues or concerns to supervisors as appropriate.

  • Ensure prompt and thorough follow-through on all customer issues to achieve resolution.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.




Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service and/or healthcare-related experience.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology (required).

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good listening skills and attention to detail.

  • Professional, tactful, and calm under pressure.

  • Ability to handle confidential client information appropriately.

  • Understanding of quality service standards and customer satisfaction metrics.

  • Basic knowledge of office equipment operations.




Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions (typing, data entry).




Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
