Project Manager – Physical Security Technology Projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a portfolio of physical security capital projects ranging from $10K to $1M in value.
- Proactively mitigate risks and escalate issues to PMO Manager and Corporate Security stakeholders as necessary.
- Review physical security engineering drawings and plans to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards, procedures, and project goals.
- Maintain daily communication (via meetings, calls, and email) with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate Product, schedule, and budget.
- Present project updates during daily, weekly, and monthly PMO project status meetings.
- Maintain accurate and current monthly project status reports, tracking Product, financials, and scheduling milestones.
- Oversee vendor-led construction efforts to ensure timely and cost-aligned execution.
- Support monthly variance analysis and financial performance reporting for assigned projects.
- Create project charters documenting business cases, Product, budgets, and scheduling requirements.
- Conduct field job walks to evaluate new project sites and assist in developing initial project Products.
- Facilitate internal project team meetings as needed to drive progress and resolve roadblocks.
- Track and document project accounting details, maintaining clear audit trails.
- Develop and manage project forecasts, financial outlooks, and MS Project schedules.
- Review daily reports from vendors to ensure progress, safety, and work quality align with company standards.
- Lead by example to promote job site safety, complying with OSHA and company-specific standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of contract management experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated ability to track budgets and develop financial forecasts for capital projects.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical single-line diagrams, logic diagrams, and MEP drawings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices.
