Job Title: Bioprocess Associate
Location: East Syracuse, NY
Duration: 6 months+

Pay range: $20 - $21.50/Hr. on W2
 
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Night Shift (6 PM – 6 AM) on a rotating schedule (Week 1: 36 hours, Week 2: 48 hours)
 
Work Environment: 100% onsite in a biologics manufacturing facility
Availability: Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required
 
Position Overview:

• This entry-level role supports biologics manufacturing processes in a classified cleanroom environment.
• It requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sterile techniques, and safety protocols. This is not a laboratory position.

• Operate, set up, and clean biologics processing equipment, including valves, hoses, clamps, and piping.
• Prepare buffers, media, and reagents up to 2000L.
• Monitor process parameters and escalate abnormal conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with cleanroom standards.
• Sustain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Complete required training and achieve proficiency in assigned tasks.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Work with hazardous materials such as caustic, acid, and steam.

• Disciplined – Ability to follow strict protocols and maintain compliance.

• Problem-Solving – Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues efficiently.

• High school diploma or higher.
• Prior manufacturing experience in biologics, pharmaceuticals, or related fields.
• Familiarity with GMP regulations and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to follow written instructions, verify data, and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with web-based computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions in a cleanroom setting.

• Mechanical aptitude with experience handling equipment and tools.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, or cleanroom operations.

• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
