Pay Range: $40 - $53.43/hr. on W2

Job Responsibilities:
- Owner of assigned projects from project initiation to project closure.
- Main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders regarding assigned projects.
- Responsible and accountable for all “8 Gates” (in alignment with DSU 9A-25) of a project life cycle (IPSEC).
Project Planning and Management:
- Clarify and determine project Product and deliverables, including:
- Feasible project timeline.
- Engineering Study/EAR Applicability.
- Number/Type of Work Orders Required.
- Reviewing and approving customer submittal documents.
- Monitoring project performance and schedules.
- Ensuring designs are received according to project schedule.
- Removing roadblocks and risks to project schedule.
- Proactively notifying stakeholders of forecasted workloads.
- Ensuring customer obligations/requirements remain on track per project schedules.
- Mitigating conflicts and driving projects forward.
- Track financial performance of all assigned projects and programs:
- Provide updated cost performance forecasts to project controls.
- Forecast project spend on an annual and life cycle basis.
- Justify and document over spend/under spend events.
- Provide year-over-year forecasts and reports as needed.
- Reconcile actual cost work orders with Client finance and customers.
- Understand and apply Client policies, processes, and procedures applicable to assigned project types, including regulations, standards, and other potential risks.
- Develop and implement solutions to complex project issues with limited oversight, creating win-win scenarios for Client and customers.
Coordination and Scheduling:
- Schedule and coordinate:
- Site meetings (pre-construction, pre-trench, global, joint, kick-off, etc.)
- Inspections in conjunction with Client inspectors
- Construction via D-Ops and/or C-Ops scheduling
- Ad-hoc meetings to facilitate project progress and completion
Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and report project statuses, health (at-risk, on-track, early, etc.), customer updates, and forecasts.
- Report completion dates and ensure timely communication with stakeholders (typical response within 24 hours).
Mentoring and Development:
- Mentor, train, and develop department staff as required.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- B.S. in Business/STEM or related field preferred; advanced degree also considered.
- Minimum combined 7 years’ experience with at least:
- 5 years project management experience
- 2 years electrical utility service planning experience
- Minimum 2 years Electrical Service Planning/Design experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), including a minimum of 2 years data manipulation and visualization using formulas, PowerBI, and other analytical tools.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and translating technical data/plans to non-technical audiences.
Additional Notes:
- Customer-facing role responsible for managing 1–200 projects simultaneously, depending on complexity.
- Personal cell phone use required; reimbursable.
- Travel to customer sites as needed; expenses reimbursable for locations other than the office.
