Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Coralville, IA
Duration: 2+ months (Possible Extension)
Work Shift- Saturday, Sunday, Monday shift of 12 hours each of those days. Open to a start time of 4 am to 8 am.
Could also possibly assist with other shift work - Those shift hours are overnight 10 pm - 6 am Monday - Friday though.
Job Description Summary:
As a Material Handler , you’ll ship, receive, package, count and route material, complete associated paperwork and/or operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments.
• Responsible for assigned picking inventorying, and packaging. Route packaging materials to proper departments.
• Instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments aProductst bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.
• Sets up locations in ERP and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer.
• Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility. Adheres to all safety rules and may use forklift and other material moving tools and moving machinery.
• Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate destination.
• Expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations including MRB.
• Setup material presentations in the cells utilizing Client tools including Material Processing (DMP) and Visual Management.
• Performs inventories; physically perform and transact cycle counts of materials.
• Reconcile bad counts with assistance from Senior Material Handler
