Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)
Location: New York, NY (Local candidates only – in-person interview required)
Contract Type: 8 weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours per Day: 7.5, Hours per Week: 37.5 & Days per Week: 5
Pay Rate: $62/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality radiologic and magnetic imaging procedures to support diagnostic processes. The role includes patient preparation, operation of imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining imaging quality and documentation.

Note:
- Bone Density, Breast, and General Radiography experience is REQUIRED and must be clearly listed on the resume.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures; operate imaging equipment accurately.
- Ensure patient comfort by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and reducing anxiety.
- Apply radiation safety protocols, use shielding, and minimize exposure risks.
- Process and review radiographs, ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain accurate patient and departmental records, including documentation of completed exams.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
- Monitor and manage radiology supply inventory.
- Adhere to infection control and workplace safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Complete age-specific competencies annually.
- Support team objectives and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Licensure:
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T)
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years required
- Bone Density, Breast, and General Radiography experience mandatory
