Research Associate / Senior Research Associate, Compound Management Contractor
Overview:
- Seeking a highly detail-oriented with very high degree of analytical thinking, highly reliable, flexible, and highly motivated Associate to join our fast-paced Compound Management Group to deliver our medchem compound submission / processing and compound request fulfillment in high quality and high accuracy / efficiency consistent manners.
Job Description:
- The individual will work under the guidance of Compound Management Group to deliver medchem compound submission / processing and compound requests in a very fast-paced work environment.
- The individual will be responsible for ensuring all service level agreements are achieved on daily basis including communicating with Compound Management Group and stakeholders to ensure an efficiently run operation and data integrity under supervision.
- The individual will coordinate incoming and outgoing compound shipments to / from CROs, partners and collaborators on our weekly tight schedules.
- The individual will perform first-tier troubleshooting under supervision.
- The individual will maintain the daily upkeep in compound management workspace.
- The individual will work on compound archive reformatting and replenishing projects.
- This is a customer service-oriented role within a very lean high-performing team in a core hub of Research.
Requirements:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in science with at least 0+ year of experience in Compound Management and 2+ years of industry hands-on lab experience in science.
- A very high attention to detail is a must, as well as a very high degree of analytical thinking / problem solving skill.
- Ability to multitask and be highly efficient while consistently delivering high quality and high accuracy / precision work.
- Must be self-motivated with proactive and can-do attitudes, and consistently highly reliable on deliverables.
- Must be highly organized, able to prioritize workload, and ask questions to fully ensure our zero-assumption policy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to be responsive promptly, fully, actively, and consistently to Compound Management Group and research partners.
- Must stay on top of all emails / communications, follow through to completion, and have strong ability to follow detailed instructions / guidance / SOPs.
- Must work well within a high-performing team, ensuring professional, respectful, and positive work environment and attitudes / behaviors at all times.
- Ability to work well with direct communication style within and outside the group.
- Familiarity with database, file management, and working knowledge (moderate to advance level) of Microsoft Office applications are required.
- Experience in automation and LIMS are plus.
- This is a fully onsite position due to the nature of the core hands-on lab time and requires PPE.
- Must be present in the lab during core hours
