Phlebotomist Floater
Location: New Canaan, CT
Duration: 4 months
Shift: 8am - 4 pm - Mon-Fri & Sat 6 am - 11 am
Pay Rate: $22/hr. + mileage reimbursement
Overview:
As the face of our company, the Phlebotomist III - Float provides high-quality patient care by collecting blood samples and ensuring proper specimen handling. This role requires travel to multiple sites and adaptability to various healthcare settings, including patient service centers, in-office locations, mobile units, and long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process blood specimens following established protocols.

Deliver excellent patient care while building trust and explaining procedures.

Float between locations and cover multiple roles as needed.

Lead and support staff on-site; provide coaching and onboarding for new employees.

Handle complex/high-volume practices with professionalism and strong communication.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Lab, IT, Billing, Logistics).

Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and strong customer service in high-volume environments.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred).
Experience:
-
5+ years phlebotomy experience
-
3+ years in PSC/IOP settings (preferred).

Customer service or retail experience (preferred).

Data entry/keyboard skills required.
