Systems Analysis Senior Advisor
This candidate is a results-oriented resource with proven success in supporting technology and business teams in delivering clinical technology solutions. The candidate is accountable to providing systems analysis support for technology and clinical business partners for diverse and complex technical initiatives. This individual will have strong collaboration and negotiation skills to effectively align multiple stakeholders all levels of the Enterprise across a matrixed organization and will be adept at navigating corporate structures and team dynamics. Recognized internally as the go-to person for the most complex Systems Analysis assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Systems Analysis matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
Under general direction, works on extremely complex issues/problems or assignments of large Product, impact, and importance.
Gather, analyze, document, and validate systems by conducting interviews, observation sessions, and workflow process analysis
Analyzes, designs and prepares technical and procedural documentation on complex concepts and issues related to applications, interfaces, data structures and workflows across the organization (e.g. batch processing documentation, data flows, architectural diagrams, runbooks, etc)
Support internal and external audit needs including the procurement or authoring artifacts or documents related to the implementation and operational support of an application or system
Coordinates the activities with other IT sections (e.g., data base, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc.) on application or system changes.
Support application development teams for technology release events, prior/during/post deployment
May work with business partners to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.
Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
Required Experience / Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technology teams
Strong detailed analytical skills
Takes initiative and is a self-starter
Ability to stay very organized while managing multiple tasks and activities
Ability to seamlessly switch channels and prioritize competing requests and deliverables
Team player with proven ability to foster and manage working relationships within a matrix environment
Dealing with ambiguity and problem solving
Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook)
7-10 years in Information Technology within a large matrixed organization
Bachelor degree in relevant field
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
Waterfall and Agile Experience
Experience with tools such as Clarity, Webex, JIRA, Service Now, Confluence, Sharepoint
Experience with developing or implementing enterprise technology solutions including applications, servers, network infrastructure
Experience supporting IT solutions or projects related to Utilization Management, Care Management or Clinical Data Initiatives
Healthcare experience
