Job Description:
- At the direction of a radiologist or other providers prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment.
- Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
- Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives.
- Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patient’s visitors and staff.
- Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in relevant unit / field preferred
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications and Licenses:
- ARRT - RT (R)
- BLS (AHA)
- State of WI license as a Radiographer
