Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)

Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: 6+ Months

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for patient specimen collection, phlebotomy, and processing while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires accurate blood draws, proper specimen handling, and maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards.

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for clinical and forensic testing
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Provide professional and compassionate patient interaction
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures
• Work independently with minimal supervision

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
• Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills preferred
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
• Keyboard/data entry experience required
• Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
• Weekend availability required as part of scheduled shift rotation
