Phlebotomist I
Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Pembroke Pines, FL
Duration: 4 months
Shift: M-F 6a-2:30p
Rotational Saturdays 6:30a-10:30a
Role:
Serve as the patient-facing representative, performing quality blood draws and preparing specimens for lab testing. Build trust by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring safe, accurate sample collection. Follow protocols and maintain confidentiality while demonstrating leadership and process excellence.
Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor guidance.

Maintain a safe, professional environment.

Confidently collect and process forensic and clinical specimens.

Keep thorough records and documentation.

Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

Excellent customer service and data entry skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime).

Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
Additional:

Candidates must live within 20-25 minutes commute to the worksite.
