Job Title: High Risk OB sonographer
Locations: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
Pay range: $90 - $100/hr. on W2
**STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY**
Key Responsibilities:
Required Licenses & Certifications:
Locations: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
Pay range: $90 - $100/hr. on W2
**STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY**
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-risk OB ultrasounds including fetal anatomy, growth, and Doppler studies.
- Collaborate directly with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians—real-time scan reviews are the norm.
- Present completed scans within a 45-minute window.
- Manage a structured schedule: no more than 4 anatomy scans/day, max 8 total scans/day—no back-to-back fatal anatomies.
- Procedures such as amniocentesis and selective reductions are performed onsite but not required of travellers.
Required Licenses & Certifications:
- RDMS (OB/GYN) – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Required)
- NT Certification – Nuchal Translucency Certification (Preferred, but not mandatory)
- BLS Certification – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association required)
- State Licensure: California does not require a state license for sonographers, but candidates must meet facility and credentialing standards.
