Job Summary:
- The Underwriting Account Senior Representative, within Client’s Supplemental Benefits contributes to the Underwriting process through the handling of all Medicare Supplement, Health and Life underwritten applications.
- Review medical history, data and interviews employing critical thinking skills.
- Operating third party software to summarize application medical and health data.
- Provide written correspondence, to the applicant or broker, regarding outstanding application requirements.
- High School diploma is required.
- 2+ years insurance or medical experience required, preferably medical insurance or PBM background.
- 1+ yr. of customer service experience preferably on phones.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical conditions/prescriptions.
