Job Description:
- Patient Care & Intake: Perform patient rooming, record vital signs, collect medical/social history, review medications, allergies, and assist in maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EPIC).
- Clinical Support: Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures; perform basic diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, eye exams), administer medications, and support emergency situations as needed.
- Specimen Collection & Lab Duties: Conduct phlebotomy, collect and process specimens, and ensure proper handling and documentation.
- Clinic Operations & Patient Coordination: Manage scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, referrals, and phone inquiries; maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure availability of supplies and educational materials.
- Advanced Responsibilities & Team Support: Train and mentor new staff, support quality and safety initiatives, assist with preventive care tracking, and manage clinic inventory and supply ordering.
Required Qualifications:
- BLS certifications from AHA.
- CMA certification.
