Position Type: Travel
Job Title: CT Technologist – Radiology
Pay range - $65/hr - $70/hr.
Duration - 2+ months (possible extension)
Location: Albany, NY
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Hours:
Mon–Thu: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Shift : 4 shifts
On-Call: No On-Call Responsibilities Required
Position Summary:
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist works under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist. The technologist performs CT imaging procedures and assists in patient care at a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
CT Technologists handle imaging for:

Trauma & emergency cases
-
Inpatients (including ICU)
-
Outpatients
-
Research patients
-
CT-guided procedures
They must enforce radiation safety protocols in compliance with New York State Department of Health Code Part 16 and contribute to teaching and continuous learning in a dynamic clinical environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
-
Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School

High school graduate (minimum requirement: High school + 1 year post-secondary education)
Licensure, Certification & Registration:
-
New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography OR Limited Permit to practice in NY

ARRT (CT) – Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required)

Current BLS for Healthcare Provider / CPR / CPR-AED for the Professional Rescuer (Required)
Experience:
-
Entry-level technologists may be considered based on skill set and assigned MIT level
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Strong understanding of CT protocols, anatomy, and emergency/trauma care

Knowledge of radiation safety measures

Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care in a high-acuity setting

Collaborative mindset to support interdisciplinary teams and patient flow efficiency
