Process Engineer II
Job Description:
Schedule/Hours:
6A6P / 6P6A on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (swing to days/mids). Workers will work day shift one week and night shift the next week.
Education:
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering strongly preferred
Minimum Experience:
2+ years required, 5+ preferred in a manufacturing environment
Product of Position / Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on support for identifying and implementing process improvements, variability reduction, defect reduction, process control, throughput improvements, and Six Sigma initiatives

Collect key process data and support execution of experiments as directed by plant process engineers

Analyze data sets to identify relationships and capabilities for line performance

Support development of standard work documentation, including SOPs, SOS, job aids, and training documentation

Support problem-solving in manufacturing, including root cause identification and resolution

Ensure safe work practices
Required Skills / Experience:

Experience and comfort working in a manufacturing environment with hands-on technical support

Willingness to work shifts

Technical curiosity with the ability to learn quickly

Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment

Strong data analysis, interpretation, visualization, and problem-solving skills
Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DoE) methods

Demonstrated technical expertise in process improvement

Work Schedule:
-
2-3-2 rotating 12-hour work schedule (Day: 6A6P / Night: 6P6A)
-
28-day (4-week) cycle
-
42 hours per week
-
2 hours overtime per week
