Job Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Job Duration: 4 months+ (possible extension)
DayShift: Days All : Hrs/week - 38 hrs guaranteed.
Note: The candidate must be flexible with shift hours. This is a floater position, requiring the individual to work across multiple locations as needed.
Pay rate: $17.20/hr. on W2

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in:
- Test ordering policies
- Hospital processing procedures
- Specimen requirements and preparation
- Quantum system usage
- Compliance and legal requirements
- Utilize and maintain knowledge of the hospital Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Print reports for Quest-performed testing
- Interpret specimen flow and tracking data using available reports and tools
- Manage and process supply ordering
- Perform remote accessioning (pre-accessioning) as required
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Work Experience
- Required: 1–3 years of relevant work experience

Preferred:
- Medical background with knowledge of clinical laboratory terminology
- Experience in a hospital laboratory environment
Skills & Competencies
- Strong data entry skills (minimum 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes per hour)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, production environment
- Knowledge of Hospital LIS systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Sound judgment in decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
