Job Title: Clinical Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY 10041
Duration: 2 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift & Pay:
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $60–$65/hour
Position Summary:
The Clinical Business Analyst will partner with clinical and operational staff to implement, support, and enhance CHS internal applications. This role focuses on improving system workflows, provider scheduling, personnel tracking, and quality improvement processes. The analyst will provide onsite support, training, and coaching to ensure effective use of CHS systems and process improvements across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train new staff on CHS systems and provide refresher or upgrade training
- Collaborate with staff to identify, document, and implement new functionalities or enhancements
- Develop and deliver guides, presentations, and group/webinar trainings for internal and external audiences
- Provide technical assistance to providers to optimize business processes
- Offer onsite support to facilities and monitor system performance
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise between providers and teams for quality improvement feedback
- Support requirement analysis and development of new application systems
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Data management and analytical skills (SQL, Excel, reporting tools)
- Healthcare IT experience, preferably in clinical environments
- Comfortable working in a secure, 24/7 correctional environment
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
Required Experience / Education:
- Option 1: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or related field plus 2 years of progressive experience in data processing, computer systems, or applications
- Option 2: Bachelor’s degree in above fields plus 5 years of progressive experience in data processing, computer systems, or applications
