Duration: 10/06/2025 – 01/03/2026
Pay Range: $23-$26/hr.
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule:

5 x 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

Every other weekend required
-
3/6 holiday requirement

No on-call requirement
-
Busy unit, 1:6 ratio

EKG/phlebotomy required

Must have ER experience

Job Summary
-
Welcome patients and check identification bracelets.
-
Prepare patients for assessments, examinations, and procedures.
-
Perform blood draws (IV or capillary) across all age groups with proper aseptic technique; ensure labeling and processing of specimens.

Perform EKG as directed.

Ensure presence, functionality, and cleanliness of necessary equipment.
-
Assist in transporting patients to departments/units.

Assist with meals or feeding as needed.

Restock assigned area inventory.

Prepare rooms for patient admission.

Provide direct hygiene and comfort care (bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, incontinent care, bed making).

Take and document admission vital signs; notify RN of results.

Perform/document glucose finger sticks and collect specimens as directed.

Obtain/document daily patient weights and intake/output.
-
Provide safe patient environment: answer call lights promptly, report condition changes to RN.

Modify and deliver care specific to patient population needs (age, culture, language, sensory impairment).
-
Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and caregivers at appropriate developmental/educational level.
