Location: Hybrid Arden Hills, MN 55112 (3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 9-Month W2 Contract with Possible temp to hire for right individual.
Pay Rate: $46.00/hour (W2)
Travel: Up to 10% (Domestic & International)
Note: Client is looking for someone with required years of experience in administering a Product data management system, who is willing to step up as technical expert

We are seeking a PDM Administrator with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to lead and support the administration of SolidWorks PDM and related systems. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to manage system updates, integrations, and end-user support, while contributing to training and knowledge sharing in a global, fast-paced environment.

Position Overview
We are seeking a PDM Administrator with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to lead and support the administration of SolidWorks PDM and related systems. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to manage system updates, integrations, and end-user support, while contributing to training and knowledge sharing in a global, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
SolidWorks PDM Administration
- Support and manage software upgrades across all SolidWorks products.
- Implement and maintain configuration changes to SolidWorks PDM.
- Collaborate with SolidWorks or resellers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Assist with the rollout of new PDM features and enhancements.
System Administration & Technical Support
- Manage and provide support for Autodesk and SolidWorks network licenses.
- Monitor license usage to optimize licensing requirements.
- Support integration of SolidWorks PDM with Windchill (including publishing servers and custom software/databases).
- Provide technical support for SolidWorks users across platforms.
- Support virtual desktop environments (VMware and Azure Local).
Training & Collaboration
- Develop and maintain video training modules based on existing materials.
- Lead user training sessions on PDM, Windchill integration, and system standards.
- Create Knowledge Base articles for end users and administrators.
- Partner with site leads to communicate changes, understand needs, and promote adoption of new features.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting & Design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM (must be clearly stated on resume).
- 2+ years of experience as a SolidWorks PDM Administrator (must be clearly stated on resume).
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL and understanding of database queries.
- Programming experience with C#, Visual Basic, REST API, and COM API.
- Familiarity with SharePoint development, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Basic knowledge of server architecture, networking, and data storage systems.
Additional Notes
- There is travel, up to 10% over duration of assignment / domestic & International travel
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
