Phlebotomist I
Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I – Phlebotomist)
Location: The Villages, FL
Duration: 4 months
Shift/Time Zone: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Overview:
The PSR I serves as the face of the company, providing skilled specimen collection while ensuring a positive, professional patient experience. This role involves venipuncture, specimen preparation, and adherence to established protocols, with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Accurately complete records and documentation
-
Provide clear explanations to patients to build trust and confidence

Work independently in a fast-paced environment

Remain flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call as needed
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
Experience:
-
Required: Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience

Preferred: 1+ years phlebotomy experience
-
Customer service experience in a retail/service setting (preferred)

Proficient in keyboarding/data entry
Skills & Requirements:

Excellent phlebotomy skills
-
Must live within 20–25 minutes of work location

Punctuality and attendance adherence strictly enforced
