Job Summary:

- Collaboratively implement medical policy.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical/medical programs.
- Promote Healthcare’s medical management programs and Employer’s (Plan Sponsor’s) resources to support member needs across the continuum of care.
- Support Medical Management staff by ensuring timely and consistent responses to members, providers, Account Teams, and Employers.
- Oversee utilization review and quality assurance.
- Provide clinical guidance to case management teams.
- Act as a clinical and business liaison to health care providers and account teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise and leadership in medical management programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and credentialing standards (HIPAA, clinical documentation, etc.).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive performance and outcomes.
- Oversee quality assurance and utilization management activities.
- Support the effective execution of medical services programs.
Education:
-
M.D. or D.O., Board Certification in a recognized specialty including post-graduate direct patient care experience.

Active and current state medical license without encumbrances.
Required Qualifications
- Active and current state medical license without encumbrances (must be listed at top of resume).
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in clinical leadership, medical oversight, or healthcare operations.
- At least 2–3 years in a Medical Director (or equivalent leadership) role, with direct experience managing clinical teams and overseeing care delivery.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making experience in patient care, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with ability to mentor and collaborate across departments.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, credentialing, compliance, documentation).
- Advanced computer skills; proficiency with electronic medical systems/records.
- Must have private home workspace and reliable home internet speed (to be listed on resume).
Preferred Qualifications
- Health plan or payor experience.
- Managed care experience.
- Familiarity with electronic medical systems/records.
