Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location – Jacksonville, FL 32258
Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Shift: Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM; Rotational Saturdays 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM.


General Description:
The Patient Services Representative I is responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. This role directly interacts with patients, explaining procedures and performing accurate phlebotomy in a professional environment.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process blood specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques for clinical and forensic testing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide excellent patient service and ensure a safe, professional environment.
• Follow all safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols.
• Perform daily tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervision.
• Promote a positive image of the organization when interacting with patients, staff, and clients.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Keyboard/data entry skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.

• Must live within 20–25 minutes of Jacksonville, FL worksite.
