Job Title: Phlebotomist III - Floater
Job Location: Castle Rock CO 
Job Duration: 6+ months of Contract + Extension/temp to hire
Shift: Shift times will vary MST
Pay Range - $25- $28/hr on W2


Job Summary:

The PSR III serves as the face of the company to patients, providing support both for routine health visits and life-defining health decisions. Responsibilities include:

  • Drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing.

  • Explaining procedures to patients and performing phlebotomy skillfully, safely, and accurately.

  • Maintaining an atmosphere of trust and confidence.

  • Demonstrating leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy with patient information.

  • Assignments may be at a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.

  • Conduct forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established practices and procedures.

  • Verify patient demographic information and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure proper labeling of specimens.

  • Maintain required records and documentation.

  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and customer-focused service.




Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

  • Strong decision-making and judgment based on established procedures.

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

  • Ability to travel to multiple locations and cover shifts on short notice.

  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

  • Superior customer service skills and effective communication with peers, supervisors, and patients.

  • Ability to adapt to change and understand company operations.




Education & Certification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.




Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
