Job Title: HR Generalist III
Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08536 (On-site, may occasionally support Columbia, MD)
Duration: 5 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $45 - $50.88/hr. on W2
Schedule: 5 days/week, hours may shift due to business needs
Position Summary:
The HR Generalist manages day-to-day Human Resources operations for multiple manufacturing plants. This role oversees the administration and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance and promoting a high-performance, employee-oriented culture. The position requires collaboration with plant leadership and HR staff to support workforce management, employee relations, training, compensation, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily HR operations for multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Implement and enforce HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support all HR functional areas including employee relations, training and development, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
- Provide guidance and support to leadership on HR issues and initiatives.
- Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing quality, productivity, and employee empowerment.
- Work with all levels of plant employees, from hourly staff to management.
- Support HR systems, including HRIS/Workday (preferred experience, but training available).
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, plant, or distribution environment.
- Experience supporting all levels of staff (hourly and salaried).
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Workday experience preferred (training available if not experienced).
