Job Description:
How will you make an impact?
Provides direct support to the business unit and clients by assisting with the monitoring of short and medium-term Scheduling and Planning readiness processes based on the Demand plan.
What will you do?
Own key scheduling reporting functions that drive site readiness to issued manufacturing schedule
Facilitate daily Value Stream Meeting intended to be the site pulse of supply health
Action key scheduling deliverables such as running Taylor daily interface and scheduling new orders
Drive intensity and completion of document releases to ensure adherence to the readiness gate targets
How will you get here?
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
In progress Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Production or related field is required
Experience (Preferred)
Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management
Equivalency
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills (legible writing)
Effective time management and prioritization skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
Self-starter, mature, independent and dependable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented.
Ability to respond disciplined and rationally under pressure.
Ability to work independently and take actions to resolve issues.
Requires discretion and independent judgment.
Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Multiple computer skills including working experience with MS Office applications such as Word and Excel necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
