Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Required: High School diploma/GED
Preferred: BS in Biology or related in vivo field
Required Experience and Skills**:
Minimum of (2) years' experience in Research in vivo field
Preferred Experience and Skills:
AAALAS certification
Required Experience and Skills:
Experience working with small laboratory animals with hands-on experience in in-vivo dosing, bleeding, tissue collection and handling techniques.
Performing Animal Handling
Compound Administration (All routes)
In-Life Blood Sampling
Necropsy Sampling and Tissue Collection
The ideal candidate should be team oriented, value workplace collaboration and can work with minimal to no supervision.

Training Schedule:
Selected candidate on assignment will undergo training. The hours can be flexible for what works for them, we prefer either Monday-Friday -7a-3pm or 8a-4pm or 9am-5pm to optimize the training and shadowing. Training period can be from 4-8 weeks maybe more or less depending on how he/she does for his/her trainings.

The Scientist position under the guidance of Laboratory Animal Manager and Director will provide study support and world class animal care to impact drug development and discovery and improve human health.
Study support may include:
Performing Animal Handling
Compound Administration (All routes)
In-Life Blood Sampling
Necropsy Sampling and Tissue Collection
Animal Health Observation, Clinical Scoring, Data Collection, and Data Management
Research Equipment Use and Maintenance
Responsibilities include understanding and executing in vivo studies including collaborating with researchers, conducting laboratory procedures in compliance with established protocols/plans and with regulatory and laboratory requirements and documenting experimental data including activities undertaken, existing conditions, observed results and variation from expected data patterns.
Perform animal health checks including some weekends and holidays, provide husbandry oversite on some weekends including room checks and emergency facility issues, engage in safety inspections and provide insight for safety initiatives, learn new in-vivo procedures as needed or requested.
