Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Location: Hartford, NJ (Remote)
Job Duration: 11-12 Months (possibility of extension)
Payrate: $60.00/ hr. on w2
Job Summary:
- Support statewide modernization of the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) by assisting municipal police departments and criminal justice partners with onboarding, training, and adoption of electronic workflows for arrest packages, bond forms, and related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person, remote, and hybrid training sessions.
- Facilitate onboarding, kickoff meetings, and workflow certification for police departments.
- Conduct impact assessments, drills, and role-mapping for go-live readiness.
- Guide departments in aligning local workflows with statewide standards.
- Serve as liaison with law enforcement, RMS vendors, and stakeholders.
- Capture feedback, support system enhancements, and provide status reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Background in public safety, criminal justice, or law enforcement.
- Familiarity with Records Management Systems (RMS) and CJIS applications.
- Experience in training, facilitation, and technical communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and virtual training tools.
- Ability to travel statewide; driver’s license required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
