Job Title: Contracts Assistant
Location: Kirkland, WA
Duration: 12 Months+ Contract (Possible extension)
Pay Rate: $27.50/hr. on W2
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day (hours between 6 AM – 6 PM PST)

Contractors will be responsible for researching provider contracts, performing outreach to providers to validate data, and sending updated contracts.
Summary:
Ensure the timely flow of provider contracts and applications to prospective providers while maintaining multiple provider network resources. Provide general support for provider network development projects as needed.

Job Description:
Contractors will be responsible for researching provider contracts, performing outreach to providers to validate data, and sending updated contracts.
Summary:
Ensure the timely flow of provider contracts and applications to prospective providers while maintaining multiple provider network resources. Provide general support for provider network development projects as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Send contracts/applications to prospective providers upon request from Director, Manager, Provider Contracting, or Service team members.
- Respond to calls from prospective providers and answer questions regarding contracting processes, policies, and procedures.
- Forward requested information/documentation to prospective providers promptly.
- Maintain a database of all contracts and applications sent to prospective new providers.
- Complete and update Contract Information Forms (CIF) for each new contract.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of provider demographic information; coordinate communication with Provider Configuration team.
- Send new provider welcome packets to contracted providers.
- Use Plan systems to track and follow up with providers who have not responded to contracts and/or applications as directed.
- Format and distribute provider network resources, such as electronic specialist directories.
- Comply with workplace safety standards and state plan/department-specific regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send Closed Provider Panel letters to providers not meeting provider contract criteria.
- Coordinate and document workflow between providers, Contract Managers, and internal departments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access).
- General office skills with strong research and issue resolution abilities.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to client policies and maintain consistent attendance to meet work quality and quantity standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Required Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in customer service, provider service, contracting, or claims.
