Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension
Shift:10:30 pm - 7 am, M- F with rotating weekends
Must be living outside 50 miles
The Pay Rate information:
Pay (Max) for Travellers-
Weekly Gross- $2091.25
Weekly W2- $1120
Weekly Stipend- $971.25

Key Responsibilities:
- Examining and analyzing blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells
- Relaying test results to physicians
- Utilizing microscopes, cell counters, and other high-precision lab equipment
- Cross-matching blood for transfusion
- Monitoring patient outcomes
- Performing differential cell counts looking for abnormal cells to aid in the diagnosis of anemia and leukemia
- Establishing quality assurance programs to monitor and ensure the accuracy of test results
- Overseeing the work of a medical laboratory technician
Requirements:
- ASCP Certification
- BLS- AHA
- 2 years of Acute care experience
