Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Friday, Sunday, Monday)

Required Certifications:

• RDMS
• BLS (AHA Only)

 
Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience in OB and Abdominal required
• RVT preferred

 
Job Summary:
The Multispecialty Sonographer performs basic to advanced ultrasound procedures, which may include abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, cardiac, musculoskeletal, and small parts imaging. Responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images and adapting exams based on clinical history and findings.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform multi-specialty ultrasound procedures following established protocols
• Identify abnormalities and adjust imaging techniques as needed
• Prepare and position patients, obtain clinical history, and explain procedures
• Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures when required
• Maintain accurate documentation in PACS and EMR systems
• Ensure equipment quality checks and report malfunctions
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians and imaging team to ensure quality patient care

 
Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of sonographic principles and instrumentation
• Ability to perform exams independently and efficiently
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology across multiple specialties
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with imaging systems and documentation workflows
