Job Title: Receptionist (Bi-lingual Spanish Required)
Location: Atlantic City, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 32
Contract Duration: 6 months
Hourly rate: $21/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Role Overview:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the medical center, both in-person and via telephone. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. The Receptionist is responsible for providing information, assisting with appointments, issuing visitor passes, and supporting both patients and internal departments. Spanish fluency is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assist all visitors/patients at the Receptionist Area.
- Provide information about Medical Center services and how to access them.
- Direct patients/visitors to appropriate departments and locations.
- Answer telephones and respond to routine inquiries using Client and Census reports.
- Issue and manage visitor passes in accordance with center policy.
- Contact nursing units for visiting approvals outside regular hours.
- Maintain an orderly and up-to-date visitor pass filing system.
- Monitor and replenish visitor pass supplies.
- Pick up census sheets from the admitting office.
- Report any lobby injuries immediately and prepare incident reports.
- Notify Environmental Services about lobby cleaning when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma required (relevant work experience may substitute).
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to use Client system and read Census Reports.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Courteous, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Able to effectively serve and communicate with a diverse community.
