This position supports purification process development during pivotal and commercial phases, focusing on high-throughput purification (HTP) of upstream/cell culture samples and downstream characterization studies. The role involves automation platforms (e.g., Tecan, Hamilton) and aims to optimize purification workflows for speed, accuracy, and reproducibility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. High-Throughput Purification & Automation:
- Execute HTP purification workflows for upstream/cell culture samples.
- Operate, optimize, and maintain automated liquid handling systems (Tecan, Hamilton).
- Develop, qualify, and refine microscale purification assays.
- Collaborate with upstream teams for timely sample processing and data delivery.
- Conduct bench-scale purification studies using chromatography, filtration, and microscale systems.
- Design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and maintain data integrity.
- Prepare protocols, reports, and documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Implement new purification technologies and instrumentation.
- Maintain lab readiness, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with safety and training requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development and characterization initiatives.
Required Education & Experience:
- M.S. with 2+ years or B.S. with 4+ years relevant experience in chemical engineering, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related field.
- Experience with chromatography (AKTA, plate-based), filtration, and standard downstream techniques.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Expertise in developing and executing HTP purification assays with automated liquid handling (Tecan, Hamilton).
- Proficient in microscale chromatography platforms.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
