Job Title – Clinical Lab Scientist (Travel)
Location: Salinas, CA 93901
Assignment Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Weekly Gross: $2800 - $3000/week (Depending on experience)
Variable Shifts (Primarily PM)

Weekly Gross: $2800 - $3000/week (Depending on experience)
Variable Shifts (Primarily PM)
- AM: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- PM: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Required Experience & Skills:
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License – Required
- 1 year experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Microbiology & Epic EMR Experience: 6–12 months current (Required)
- Prior travel experience preferred but not mandatory
Job Summary:
- Performs complex clinical laboratory testing to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment under general supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical and complex laboratory tests following established procedures.
- Work across core lab areas with emphasis on Microbiology.
- Monitor quality control, identify variances, and take corrective action as needed.
- Accurately report test results using the Epic laboratory system.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
