1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or
concerns and report suspected violations.
2. Bene ts:
Provides information, interpretation, and guidance to HR sta and employees regarding EMC s bene t program.
Assists employees with escalated bene t claims and eligibility issues.
Ensures the timely ling of bene ciary claims.
Writes Five Star Outlook and Wellness articles.
Assists with orientation of new employees to the bene t package at General Orientation and individual meetings.
Coordinates the employee discount availability.
Coordinates the annual Open Enrollment program including organizing/implementing the Wellness/Bene t Fair; assisting in the design of plan documents; employee communication materials and conducting pre- and post-OE audits ensuring accuracy of data.
Responsible for Open Enrollment setup, rate updates*** system validation and operation as it relates to bene t activity in
HCM system.
Responsible for review and error correction relating to vendor interface data from HCM system, across all bene ts, outbound and inbound.
Coordinate new vendor interface set up and existing vendor modi cations.
Leads wellness program initiatives.
Responsible for reconciliation, tracking and approval of all invoices for bene t vendors and employee bene t plans.
Coordinates activity with vendors for bene ts, employee services and longevity programs.
Specific Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required: Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of excel, power point and word applications; knowledge of an HR database system
Ability to establish/maintain positive interpersonal relationships with all levels of the organization
Requires strong customer service, problem solving, project management and teamwork skills
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks/projects; ability to in uence and negotiate
Ability to take initiative, be innovative and work effectively in a variety of settings
Ability to operate basic offuce equipment
Licensure/Certification
Preferred: PHR or SPHR; Benefits certification
Experience: Required: 1-2 years related experience to employee benefits
Preferred: Healthcare Background
