Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Work Location: Auburn, ME, 04210
Duration: 5+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Description:
Experienced maintenance planner or other relative experience to: Assist with doing all the initial IQ / OQ checks to ensure that equipment is installed as required and all devices are installed in the proper orientation, Assist with checking all mechanical aspects of the equipment (Alignment, torque tests, guards in place, free moving parts), Assist with developing and documenting centerlines, Assist with developing AM / PM Plans and documentation (Maintenance Plans), Assist with developing CIL's, Assist with developing re-build instructions for equipment, Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment, Understanding of production, packaging and conveying systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and/ or engineering degree/experience
Must Have:
(1) Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
(2) An analytical mindset with the ability to perform data analysis and develop strategies for improvement.
(3) Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail. advanced troubleshooting
