Job Title: Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) Float 
Location: Avon Park, FL
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and Saturday (7:00 AM – 1:30 PM). Includes every Saturday. Hours and location may vary.

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. This role involves direct interaction with patients, ensuring accurate specimen collection, proper labeling, and maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection (pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients).

• Verify patient identification and ensure specimens are labeled correctly in the patient’s presence.

• Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Follow safety, confidentiality, and company policies.

• Provide professional and friendly patient service.

• Travel between multiple patient service locations as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic keyboard/data entry skills.

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record (for floating between sites).

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Preferred:

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.

• 2+ years experience in a Patient Service Center environment.

• Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service industries.

Additional Notes:
This is a floating position that may require travel between multiple sites with minimal notice. Mileage reimbursement is available for travel between locations.
