Analytical Scientist
Location: 100% Onsite – Westborough, MA

Top Requirements (Must-Have Skills):

Hands-on experience with Agilent GC-MS and Agilent ICP-MS instruments.

Proficient with MassHunter Software.
-
Strong background in analytical chemistry techniques under GLP/GMP environments.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
-
Independently execute and analyze intermediate complexity lab testing projects.
-
Prepare and operate instruments; troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment with minimal supervision.
-
Record data and prepare technical reports in alignment with SOPs.
-
Apply scientific judgment and propose solutions when encountering technical challenges.
-
Collaborate with team members on R&D, NPI, NPD, or QC release testing projects.
-
Ensure all data is accurately captured in lab notebooks; immediately report deviations or test issues.
-
Follow proper procedures for test preparation, execution, and post-test clean-up.
-
Work with PC-based programs for data input and reporting.
-
Apply working knowledge of GLP, GMP, and laboratory best practices.

PC-based data tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.

3+ years of hands-on experience in biotech/pharmaceutical labs.

Prior titles may include:

Scientist II – R&D

Validation Scientist

Field Scientist

Analytical Chemist
