As a Supply Management Specialist for Client Global Supply Management and Logistics, you will work with an Enterprise Supply Base Manager, Engineering teams and Factory SM to implement and maintain a supply strategy to support current production business for Client Power Systems products. Your Responsibilities:
As a Supply Management Specialist for Client Global Supply Management and Logistics, you will work with an Enterprise Supply Base Manager, Engineering teams and Factory SM to implement and maintain a supply strategy to support current production business for Client Power Systems products. In addition, you will:
- Lead and support negotiation of supply with the supply base, ensuring the Company meets overall goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply.
- Organize and lead continuous improvement in terms of supplier relationships, performance and lowest total cost with the supply base utilizing Achieving Excellence criteria and other supply management tools.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members to influence and align on future architecture and module decisions.
- Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences):
- 2 or more years of project management experience including creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results
- 2 or more years of experience in roles that required demonstration of effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- 2 or more years of demonstrated effective internal and / or supplier negotiation and conflict
- Previous product design, quality, cost management, or direct material supply management experience
- 2 or more years of experience in a Supply Management role
- Experience working on global teams or with global product
- Experience with Order Fulfillment and Enterprise Product Delivery processes
- Experience in roles that required an advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, PowerBI)
- Working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint file management
Education:
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply management, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience
