Job Title: Medical Lab Technician
Location: Southfield, MI 48236
Duration: 3 + Months contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: Monday-Thursday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (Flexibility with hours)
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.

- Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science.
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
Schedule Notes:
- Responsibility: Run CBC for infusion, spin down, print labels, ready blood for pickup, slides. in house INR
- Must Have: Good communication skills, ability to multi task, good under pressure, time management skills.
- Special Note: Office sees roughly 75 - 100 patients a day.
