Job Title: Lab Assistant | Technician II
Location: Tucson, AZ 85755
Duration: 12 Months+
Shift: This is an onsite position, M-F, 7AM to 4:00PM MST
Job Overview:
Lab Assistant/Technician responsible for maintaining and servicing diagnostics lab equipment or slide scanning and maintaining scanning and other diagnostics lab equipment.
Key Skills Desired:
- Previous experience with equipment maintenance
- Experience with hand tools
- Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field)
- Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks.
The Opportunity:
- Support laboratory experiments and research activities
- Prepare lab materials and samples for testing
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
- Assist with data collection and documentation
- Maintain lab inventory and equipment
Who You Are:
- 2–5 years of experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of industry best practices
Preferred (Optional):
- Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred
