Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Long Beach, CA 90805
Duration: 3 Months (TemptoPerm)
Shift options:
Pay: $26-$30/hr. (based on 2-5 years’ experience)
Required Experience & Skills:
Responsibilities:
Location: Long Beach, CA 90805
Duration: 3 Months (TemptoPerm)
Shift options:
- 2nd Shift- 3 pm - 11:30 pm
- 3rd Shift- 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Pay: $26-$30/hr. (based on 2-5 years’ experience)
Required Experience & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years hands-on SPD experience with loaner and consignment trays.
- Certifications: CRCST, CBSPD, CIS or HSPA CHL
- Sterilization standards, OSHA, medical device reprocessing, and surgical instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Follow ANSI/AAMI standards, IFUs, SOPs, and company Work Instructions; decontaminate, clean, disassemble, and reassemble surgical instruments using proper protocols.
- Accurately assemble, package, and inspect instrument trays; operate sterilizers and processing equipment; document missing or damaged items.
- Maintain accurate records for sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and inventory; ensure proper handling and care of instruments and customer-owned items.
- Perform routine maintenance of sterilization equipment, clean workstations, and comply with quality and infection control standards; communicate effectively with team and management.
