Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Location: Neptune, NJ
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Payrate: $50.00 - $55.00/ hr on w2

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment per department policy.
  • Performs respiratory therapy under medical direction, including treatment, diagnostic evaluation, and care for cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
  • Assists with intubation and manages ventilator setup.
  • Gathers patient-specific data and consults other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Educates patients and caregivers on disease processes and care.
  • Maintains communication with medical staff and upholds standards of patient-centered care.
  • Lifts minimum of 5 lbs., pushes/pulls 5 lbs., stands at least 1 hour/day.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy – Required.
Licensure & Certifications:
  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License – Required.
  • Current and valid New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist – Required.
  • BLS (AHA) – Required.
  • ACLS – Required.
  • PALS – Required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs – Required.
  • Strong accountability and focus on patient-centered care – Required.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication – Required.
