Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of project control systems related to scheduling, cost management, and risk tracking.
- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to create accurate reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to maintain accurate and current cost and schedule forecasts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Review contractor and vendor cost reports and invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Participate in internal and external project review meetings, presenting status updates on schedule and budget.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and project control standards.
- Provide guidance on corrective actions when project costs or schedules deviate from plan.
- Maintain proper documentation and archiving of project control deliverables.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards, etc.) and experience with financial modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) for cost tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), cost forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in the energy, utilities, or industrial sector is a plus.
