Job Description:

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Avodale, Client 85392
Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Room and vital patients, provide patient care basics, able to manage medical task, can collaborate with others, and partners with clinicians to create positive outcomes.
  • Phlebotomy experience required.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Personable, accepts feedback and implements direction from leadership, and promotes teamwork.
  • Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools OR completed relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces OR possess a Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute (candidate must also have completed a medical assistant training program).
  • Active or previously active Medical Assistant certification from one of these organizations: AMCA (American Medical Certification Association), AMT (American Medical Technologists), AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants), NHA (National Healthcareer Association), NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing).
